Crawley Museum and Ifield Watermill welcome children and families as visitors

Crawley Museum

All our public areas are accessible to visitors with pushchairs. There is a lift to the first floor. Subject to space, pushchairs can be parked in the downstairs lobby area. We have three individual toilets, one of which has baby changing facilities. There is a small indoor refreshments area where you can eat your own snacks, as well as a small outdoor space. There are refreshment machines available. The museum includes hands on activities. The museum shop carries a range of reasonably priced souvenir items for children.

Family Activities

Crawley Museum will be running a variety of activities for families, children and young people. These include playdays, craft activities and Young Curators Club. Please see the news page for more details.

Ifield Watermill

The Watermill has internal stairs which are not suitable for pushchairs. Pushchairs can be left on the ground floor. The Watermill has one fully accessible toilet, the entrance to which is outside the building. It does not include baby changing facilities. There is an outside area when you can eat your own snacks. The Watermill has a small selection of souvenir items for sale.
